She packs her bags goodbye
Wipes the tears from her eyes
And tells her parents some day I’ll be back

I stayed in my room
To long it won’t be soon
I’ll be running till the moon turns black

Skipping cross the floor
Heading out the door
She hears her father say its okay

That’s my child
We raised her wild
Mother drops to her knees and starts to pray

Crazy child
The worlds on fire
There’s no place you can go or you can stay

Too young to know
Or stop the flow
Of emotions that have just begun to rage

I’ll be back soon
I’ve seen the black moon
On the phone that’s all that she can say

We fade this picture black
Before she hits the sack
With some man that says its okay
